The long 11-game roadtrip for the Red Sox ended with a thud. An 8-5 loss to the Dodgers in a game filled with bad pitching and bad defense. The Sox return home with a 6-5 record on the trip and three games out of the AL East lead.

It starts with David Price. Five innings of work, allowing six runs(3 earned), six hits and five walks.

Junichi Tazawa gave up back-to-back home runs in his inning of relief.

On defense, the Sox committed three errors and generally played sloppy all day.

The one bright spot - rookie Andrew Benintendi. He went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base.
