At approximately 5:00 a.m. Saturday, Cpl. Chuck Michaud responded to the crash. The investigation disclosed that 25-year-old Robert Morrow from Ashland had been traveling north on Route 11 when he fell asleep at the wheel, said police.

Mr. Morrow’s 2006 Chevrolet went off the east side of Route 11, crashed through a utility pole wire, and then came to rest after striking a large group of trees, police said.

The vehicle was heavily damged in the crash.  Mr. Morrow escaped the crash with no injuries and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
