Local singers will be vying for cash and prizes at Aroostook’s Got Talent on Saturday, November 16th at Fort Fairfield High School.  The event is a benefit to help raise money for a Veteran’s Memorial at the local VFW post.

The winner of Saturday’s talent show will receive $100 cash, a round trip ticket with PenAir to Boston, and a 1-year fitness center membership for two at the Presque Isle or Caribou Inn and Convention Center.   The 2nd and 3rd place finishers will also receive an assortment of cash and prizes.  All contestants are 18 years and older.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.  The show starts at 6:30.

Advance tickets are $8 ($3 for children under 12) and are available at County Federal Credit Union branches.  Tickets at the door are $10 for adults/ $5 for children under 12.  Children 6 and under get in free.

Aroostook’s Got Talent is sponsored by Fort Fairfield VFW post 6187.  All proceeds will go towards establishing a Veteran’s Memorial on the VFW grounds.
