Detective Jeff Clark was on patrol in St. Agatha around 10:30 Friday night and located a large party at a residence on Brook Road, according to a report from Sgt. Brian Harris.  Several juveniles fled the residence as Detective Clark arrived, Harris said.

The homeowner, 19-year-old Brandon Couture, was summonsed for providing a place for minors to consume alcohol and illegal possession of alcohol by a minor.  A 15-year-old girl from St. Agatha was also summonsed for illegal possession of alcohol.

State Police said a significant amount of alcohol was seized Friday night and parents were called to the residence to retrieve their children.

Couture is expected to appear in Fort Kent District Court at a later date.

State Police encourage anyone with information regarding underage drinking parties to call the Maine State Police Barracks in Houlton at 532-5400.  Information received can be kept confidential.
