Armed Robbery Charges For Hold Up at Circle K on Elmwood Dr [ENGLISH & FRENCH]

Three people have been charged in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday in Moncton.

According to Codiac RCMP, police responded to a hold up alarm at the Circle K Irving on Elmwood Drive shortly after 3:30 a.m. Two individuals entered the store, one suspect was wearing a mask and holding a knife demanding money. They left with an undisclosed amount of cash. A short time later, police arrested three people in relation to this incident.

Monday, 19-year-old David Cormier from Moncton, 18-year-old Kayla Gould from Moncton and 19-year-old Brian Pellerin from Saint-Paul, N.B., were charged with offences related to the armed robbery. They have been remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on September 2 at 1:30 p.m., said police.

Des accusations ont été portées contre trois personnes en lien avec un vol à main armée survenu le 30 août, vers 3 h 30, à Moncton.

Le Service régional de Codiac de la GRC s’est rendu sur les lieux d’un vol à main armée au Circle K Irving de la promenade Elmwood, où deux suspects étaient entrés dans le commerce. Un des suspects portait un masque et brandissait un couteau quand il a ordonné qu’on lui remette de l’argent. Ils ont ensuite pris la fuite avec l’argent. Peu de temps après, la police a arrêté trois personnes en lien avec cet incident, salon la police.

Le 31 août, des accusations ont été portées contre David Cormier, 19 ans, de Moncton, Kayla Gould, 18 ans, de Moncton, et Brian Pellerin, 19 ans, de Saint-Paul, au Nouveau-Brunswick. Ils ont été mis en détention provisoire et comparaîtront en cour provinciale à Moncton le 2 septembre, à 13 h 30, salon la police.
