Armed Robbery At Needs Convenience Store in Moncton

The Codiac Regional RCMP is investigating an armed robbery at the Needs convenience store on the corner of Mountain and Gorge Roads in Moncton. Police are releasing pictures of clothing the suspect was wearing at the time.

According to police, Tuesday, just before midnight, a man entered the store armed with a knife. No injuries were sustained, but the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Following the robbery, police recovered the suspect’s jacket nearby, along with his cap. The suspect was approximately 5’9 to 5’11, with a medium build. He was wearing a black Bugatti jacket with brown trim and a Philadelphia Flyers cap, said police.
