Piper Elizabeth York was the lucky baby to receive a copy LePage's new publication. LePage visited TAMC's Women's and Children's Unit to see the newborn daughter of Katelyn Powers and James York.

The goal behind the 'Love.Read.Learn!' Baby Journal is to promote literacy and health to Maine Families with newborn babies. The book is filled with artwork submitted by almost 900 students, grades K-8 from throughout the state. The cover features art from Kevin Duplessie, a student at Caribou Middle School.

The baby journal will be provided at no cost to parents of newborns in Maine in 2013.
