According to police, Ryan Troy O’Donnell has been charged with operating a motor vehicle while being pursued by police and dangerous driving.

On January 27 at approximately 9:45 p.m., Woodstock RCMP officers observed a green Jeep Cherokee driving at an excessive speed on Main Street in Hartland, police said.

The driver failed to stop for police, and struck the steps of a building. The driver then proceeded to Orser Street and collided with a telephone pole. No one was injured, said police.

All three occupants of the vehicle were arrested. Two were later released, and the driver was held in police custody.

Ryan O’Donnell appeared in Woodstock Provincial Court on February 1 and was released on conditions. He is scheduled to return to court on February 16.
