What Shelter Will Be Taking Care of Him?

Maine Coast Animal Rescue is all about giving animals a better future. The women who own and run the shelter find animals in other states and bring them to Maine for rehabilitation and rehoming. Sometimes these adorable dogs and cats have had a rough life or have been in difficult situations. So they need a family who will care for them and return the unconditional love they desperately want to share.

Does He Have a Name?

Like this sweet kitty who's had a tough time, living on the streets in another state, and fending for himself, before being taken to a shelter in his state after a group of 'horrible children' beat him up. The shelter was forced to remove one of his eyes but nursed the poor guy back to health.

On March 13th, the cat will arrive at Maine Coast Animal Rescue and the folks at the shelter are hoping to find him a wonderful home. Oh, and he needs a name because he's never had one. I would name him Aslan after the lion in 'The Chronicles of Narnia,' because he's brave and loving.
