Adding Color to Outdoor Sports: Volunteers Sought For Presque Isle Arts Run

The Wintergreen Arts Center in Presque Isle and the University of Maine at Presaque Isle are looking for volunteers for the 4th Annual Color PI 5K 2016 that will be held August 27th. 

Wintergreen is expecting about 400 runners this year and many activities are planned for the beginning, middle and end of the run.

The Arts Center and UMPI need volunteers to help direct people along the route, prep color stations, run supplies to color and water stations, help with the kids art projects at the finish line and many other jobs.

Color Presque Isle 5K is a benefit event that combines fun, fitness, and the arts. The 4th annual 5K will take place Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 9 a.m. Check out the links for guidelines, online registration, a printable registration form, and volunteer sign-up.

The 2016 event will kick off at Riverside Park in Presque Isle. Children under 10 can participate free. All proceeds support arts programming in downtown Presque Isle.
