Woodstock RCMP and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to the accident scene as well. The driver of the transport truck was taken to the hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.

Chief Nicholson said the Woodstock Fire Department was called to the crash site in case of a petroleum leak, but less than a litre of fuel leaked from the overturned truck.

The tractor and trailer were both extensively damaged and it was well past midnight before crews finally had the site cleaned up.

The RCMP is investigating the cause of the crash.  Nicholson said speed did not appear to be a factor.
