Boothbay Railway Village invites you to experience Christmas in decades past when the evening light was just flickering oil lamps and candles. Candlelight & Cocktails on Rails will transport you to a vintage Christmastime complete with warm spiced wine, spiked eggnog, roasted chestnuts, mini mince pies, and more. You'll enjoy it all before boarding a steam-heated coach lit with oil lamps and lanterns.

Should weather permit, merry makers can take a walk through the lower campus exhibits including Harrington House which will be decked out in 1940s style including a Lionel train operating beneath the home’s tree loaded with Shiny Bright ornaments, tinsel and Noma bubble lights. The 1847 Boothbay Town Hall will also be open for guests to view our model railroad and Christmas village display. A bonfire will provide a warming station while you wait for a Model T ride as well.

Get your tickets and experience the magical holiday experience aboard the train at Boothbay Railway Village. The event runs Saturday, December 9 and Saturday, December 16. Train departures at 6:00, 6:30 and 7:00 on both nights.
