The Woodstock RCMP is investigating a case of vandalism to a church in Lower Woodstock and seeking the public's help to identify the person or persons responsible.

Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on August 20 and 8:00 a.m. on August 21, the Parish of Woodstock Anglican Christ Church on Route 165 was vandalized with spray paint. Sgt. J.P. MacDougall of the Woodstock Detachment of the West District RCMP says the numbers "666" and a pentagram were sprayed in permanent black paint on the exterior walls of the church.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information about the crime or about who may be responsible to contact the Woodstock RCMP at 506-325-3000.
