RCMP from Perth-Andover, Grand Falls and Rivière-Verte responded to a crash at the Four Falls exit off Route 130 around 3a.m. after a vehicle traveling southbound had failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle went off the road and down an embankment, and came to rest in a wooded area.

One man was transported to the hospital in Saint John with serious injuries while two others were taken to the hospital in Edmundston with non-life-threatening injuries. A fourth man was not seriously injured.

Police say speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash. The investigation continues.
