Maine Open Lighthouse Day Sept. 8th

Saturday, September 8th is Maine Open Lighthouse Day.

An annual and popular event put on by the United States Coast Guard, the Maine Office of Tourism and the American Lighthouse Foundation.

It's a chance to climb and learn about over two dozen historic Maine lighthouses. This annual event attracts 15,000 to 18,000 visitors.
