Minto RCMP is asking for the public’s help in locating a 22-year-old man reported missing in the Fredericton area on Thursday.

Mitchell Veenhuis was last seen Wednesday evening when he left his residence on Route 690 in Maquapit Lake, telling his roommate he would be gone for about 30 minutes.


Mitchell is described as approximately 6'2", 160 lbs., with short, light brown hair and blue eyes.

He is believed to be driving a bright blue 2012 Ford Fusion with New Brunswick license plate JEK814.

He also has family and friends in Pictou County, Nova Scotia.
