2015 Walk for Wishes to be Held in Presque Isle
The Make-A-Wish Maine, Walk for Wishes will be held on Thursday, September 24th at UMPI in the Multi-purpose room upstairs.
Registration starts at 6:00 p.m. with the walk beginning at 7:00.
Make-A-Wish Maine
This is a fundraising walk and the proceeds go to grant wishes for young people with life threatening illness.
Make-A-Wish Maine grants approximately 70 wishes each year - that's an average of one wish every 5 days! The average cost of a wish is $6,000. These wishes enrich the human experience and bring hope, strength, and joy in their greatest time of need.
It doesn't matter how little or big your donation is. Everything helps towards making a child's wish come true.
