Brad Paisley was announced as a headliner for the 2014 Taste of Country Music Festival at the end of last year’s three-day fest. You’ll struggle to find a country fan with something bad to say about him or his music, so predictably, fans began scooping up tickets as soon as the announcement was made. The star highlights an all-star lineup for the June 13-15, 2014 country music and camping party at Hunter Mountain in New York.

Paisley debuted with ‘Who Needs Pictures’ in 1999, but his first big hit was a touching tribute to fathers called ‘He Didn’t Have to Be.’ The song ‘I'm Gonna Miss Her’ from 2002 made him a national sensation, party due to a music video that featured a number of celebrities, like his future wife Kimberly Williams.

His sense of humor would step forward again during follow-up singles like ‘Celebrity,’ ‘Alcohol’ and ‘Online,’ but he’d never give up on the sensitive material. The heartbreaking ‘Whiskey Lullaby’ is every bit as satisfying as the outrageous ‘Ticks.' The West Virginia native’s guitar playing is much of a signature as his white cowboy hat and impish smile. Since 2009, Paisley has found a way to feature all three elements of his music on every album, sometimes all in a single song. ‘Waitin’ on a Woman’ and ‘Anything Like Me’ are two that work on multiple levels, but there are many others.

In total, Paisley has charted 30 songs, included 17 No. 1s. Along the way he’s become one of country music’s most dependable superstars. He'll sell out 20,000-seat arenas and bring millions to their televisions each November as host of the CMA Awards. He also serves as the conscious of country music, offering wisdom an advice as greats like Vince Gill did before him.

The 2014 Taste of Country Music Festival will also feature performances from Dierks Bentley, Brantley Gilbert, Randy Houser, Thompson Square, Craig Morgan, Thomas Rhett and many more. Over a dozen stars have signed up already, with more expected to be named as the festival draws near.
