2014 Free Fishing Weekend in Maine

According to the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, free fishing days will take place on Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st. On these days, any person (except those whose license has been suspended or revoked) may fish without a license. All other laws and regulations apply on these days.

Maine has nearly 6,000 lakes and ponds over one acre in size and almost 32,000 miles of rivers and streams. So there is sure to be a fishing spot that's perfect for you!
