Sometimes in sports you hear that an ugly win counts as much as a pretty win, that was the case for the Boston Bruins Saturday night as the B's beat the Jets in overtime 2-1.Dougie Hamilton's 5th goal of the season 3:39 into overtime gave Boston the win in a game where offense was a premium. Boston fired 31 shots at Michael Hutchinson who came up with 29 saves. Boston also had to kill off a double minor penalty on Brad Marchand at the end of the third period and into overtime.

Hamilton also set up the game tying goal in the third period that was scored by Milan Lucic, his 5th of the season. Carl Soderberg assisted on both goals.

Boston now begins a four game west coast road trip starting Monday in Anaheim against the Ducks, followed by stops in Los Angeles, San Jose, and Phoenix.
